Boot animation and sound on Asus Rog Ally is very nice and sharp, but not always very practical. Especially if you are out in the public, or booting up in the middle of the night.
Here is quick tip on how to disable boot sound and animation on Asus Rog Ally.
We should power down our Asus Rog Ally and then boot it to BIOS. If you don’t know how, here is a tutorial on how to do it – How to access BIOS and Boot menu on Asus Rog Ally – DeckGuy
This works on BIOS version 335 or older.
When in BIOS on main screen, press Y (or touch Advanced mode at the bottom of the screen) to access Advanced BIOS mode.
Navigate to Advanced tab by pressing the Advanced menu on the screen or by pressing RB button
Then on Advanced screen navigate to “Animation Post Logo Configuration”. Press A or press on the menu on screen to enter it.
Set “Animation Post Logo Audio” to Disabled.
Now, navigate to Save & Exit menu on the top. And there select Save Changes and Exit
Confirm Save and Exit
That should be it, on next reboot your Asus Rog Ally should be silent.
